I've now set the absorption and float volts to 29v, decided trying to deliberately taper charging using absorption v is too tricky. Also remember I'm charging at just 0.12C, not 1C like many of the tapering recommendations assume.

The other 7 cartons arrived a week later.. in similar nick and condition. All appear physically OK, no obvious dents etc. Voltages all seem as per the labels attached and range over 52 cells from 3.257 to 3.268v. Starting the long slow process to top balance these ..

So all these discussions of Basen (and others ?) wrapping cells and mixing possibly vendors and the odd dented cells are being to make some sense why these are so cheap relative to others. But as for Grade A but not fully matched & binned.. What are they matching for ? Capacity within X %...
