Built first electric motor ( no help but books) when I was 7. Ba kgro7nd in MC and auto mechanics, no formal training. I've always considered electrical my weakest point. Background in construction. Definitely better with DC than AC☆. New to solar. Most of what I know came from forums and you tube videos. Am setting up a portable system for camping/ overlanding in my Jeep JKU. Currently have a lifepo4 100AH battery, Victron Smartsolar 100/30 MPPT charge controller , (2) folding Dokio 160 watt , 18v max panels running in series, but switchable to parallel with a y connector swap, 1000w inverter, separate 12vdc 4 gang USB outlet, 12v 6 spot Blue Sea fusebox, and looking for a dc-dc charger to top off battery when driving. All cables are probably oversized, or at least sufficient.
