I'm planning to build a battery system to store PV energy. I want to buy either EVE LF280 or EVE MB31 cells, 16 piece. I've read you need to balance them, bring them to the same voltage level, prior to start using them. Now I'm trying to find out how to balance them. The JK BMS has a 2A balancer...
Im based in The Netherlands and preparing to build a battery energy storage system with two purposes in mind, 1) use of the during the day generated solar energy in the evening and 2) to return (to sell) cheaper bought energy back to the grid for a higher price. For option 2 the dutch tax agency...
I've ordered MB31 cells (16x) they still have to arrive, no details on voltage yet. Assuming I need to balance them, which power supply or battery testing do you recommend? I've seen the blue device: EBC-A40L but this is another 200+ euro's. Any good alternatives?
