Anker 767 with an EcoFlow 220W bifacial solar panel

The 767 looks to be pretty solid. And the first on the market to use GaN in a larger power bank. I've watched a few videos and haven't found any tests of the inverter efficiency though, which I'm expecting would benefit from GaN.

    Ecoflow River Plus?

Hmm, the pictures shown on that link are the standard River, not the River Plus… I have one, it works well and does what it’s supposed to. I’m not a fan of the registration that Ecoflow requires just to use the app, and the app is required to change certain settings - but one of those settings...

    Anker 757 Powerhouse New? Tested??

This should use the same solar cable that came with my River Max (MC12 to XT60 plug), right? I have a couple of cheap 100W solar panels that would work with the 757. Like my River it would be used mainly for backup power at home, using the solar panels to extend the run time.

    Anker 757 Powerhouse New? Tested??

Hmmm, I’ve been waiting for a LFP-based system around 1kwh and this fits the bill. Only 300W solar input though. No mention of how AC charging works on the site, but I’m guessing it has a power brick. I guess we’ll need to see somebody take it apart. edit - looking at the marketing images on...

New Ecoflow River models... more battery, now white

I just noticed Ecoflow has some new Rivers on their site... the River Plus and River Max Plus, at 360wh and 720wh respectively. Oh, and they're white. Also increased cycle life... went from 500 to 800 cycles at 80%. Better NCM chemistry? What I can't figure out is why the River Max Plus and...

    My experience with Jackery

Between the Jackery 500 and Ecoflow River Max I went with Ecoflow. Mainly for charging speed and the fact that you don’t need an external power brick. Jackery looks high quality though. Ecoflow is on sale right now too on Amazon.

    Westinghouse iGen1000s portable power station

Discussed here: Ecoflow Delta = Westinghouse IGEN 1000s?

    AC200 Max & B230 Expansion Battery

No internal battery listed in the AC300 specs per Bluetti: https://www.bluettipower.com/pages/ac300ac200max AC300 is only sold as a bundle with the B300 battery, maybe that’s what Hobotech was talking about? I haven’t seen his video on the AC300. Maybe Bluetti is wrong about their specs...

Lots of random power station brands on amazon - are they "all the same"?

When it comes to buying something that has the potential to burn down your house, go with a well-known brand. Note that some seem to be almost “white label” products that are actually licensing a known brand like Duracell or Westinghouse. I don’t know if those are any good or not.

    AC200 Max & B230 Expansion Battery

For emergency use or camping, Delta Max… for running a daily cycle as part of a solar system, AC200 Max. Both look really good but the Bluetti lacks UL listing if that makes a difference. Being able to charge quickly from a nearby L2 car charger, and not having to worry about an external AC...

New portable/modular systems - Inergy Flex, Bluetti, EcoFlow , Titan - what to choose?

The Goal Zero Yeti 1000 Core is now released on Amazon. Specs aren’t that exciting for recharging (“fast” charge is 4 hours and requires a separate optional power adapter), but 1200W continuous is nice. The main thing it has going for it is the price… $899 with the $100 discount on Amazon. Not...

Ecoflow Delta = Westinghouse IGEN 1000s?

It looks like a lot of shared components for sure. Just a guess, but I bet Ecoflow worked with suppliers to build the major structural components, but Ecoflow wasn’t established enough yet to secure exclusive deals with suppliers (it was their first product and it’s hard to secure exclusive...

New portable/modular systems - Inergy Flex, Bluetti, EcoFlow , Titan - what to choose?

After seeing ads for a bunch of different products, I think manufacturers vastly overestimate the number of people that go camping with blenders and curling irons.

New portable/modular systems - Inergy Flex, Bluetti, EcoFlow , Titan - what to choose?

Bluetti and Ecoflow certainly seem to be the front runners in this new market of (relatively) affordable home power banks. Never heard of WattAnt, and I can’t really find much on that battery chemistry either (LiNi02) aside from scientific papers published years ago. Looks good on paper but can...

New portable/modular systems - Inergy Flex, Bluetti, EcoFlow , Titan - what to choose?

Ecoflow Delta meets your requirements for output and weight, but if you are really consuming 1500w continuous it’ll run empty pretty quick. Bluetti’s new modular system looks great, but won’t be available for a while- and you’ll have to supply your own cart.
