I understand the basics. A friend set up my offgrid system 10 years ago. Long ago I was a ham radio operator but I've lost a lot of the knowledge that went into getting my license.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Off grid system, 10 years old. Magnum 24 v MS4024PAE, Xantrex MPPT 150/60 CC. 2 strings of 4x6v 430ah lead acid batteries that are nearing the end. 2 strings of 3x 250 watt panels in series through Midnight combiner. One panel failed last year and another is behaving erratically. I plan to upgrade this year.
