GroWatt to MAIN PANEL / Battery Only question

Well, I am using a Square D gen Panel and only powering the one side (2 Breakers (2 tandems for 4 circuits). So far it is working but I am haven't tested under a full load since it is the Refrigerator (Random power needs) and a Water Pump. The other 2 are just some LED Overhead lights so...

Amp Vs Wire Type Vs Manufacutures Recommendations..

This is from the Inverter... am I reading that when using a Battery as the power source (this is a backup system), The AC Output is limited to 25Amps based on the Inverter? So I should only expect when all is working fine that I would be putting out a max of 25 Amps? So would I rate the Wire...

Amp Vs Wire Type Vs Manufacutures Recommendations..

Ok.. Probably a silly question but... My Inverter recommends 8AWG wire for AC Output.. This looks like it should be good for 40 AMPS output then. I am going to Output the Inverter into a Generator Sub Panel which has a 60 AMP Breaker. Do I size the WIRE for the OUTPUT (the 8 AWG) or do I size...

Main Circuit Panel vs Sub Panel

I like this use of the Sub Panel and intend to duplicate it... DThames stated in this post ( https://diysolarforum.com/threads/second-post-installing-a-subpanel-and-using-battery-backup-for-grid-outage.15715/ ) : Use my example. I put in a 60amp sub panel. I pulled 4 critical house...

MAIN to Inverter Connection Question - Growatt 48v

Hi Folks, I want to connect AC IN from my MAIN Panel to my GROWATT 3000TL via this manner: 40 Amp Breaker (Single Pole) ... Direct Wire into the Inverter. Now.. Is that overkill? The Wire for a 40 Amp Connection (8/3) is pretty beefy and pricey. Is that overkill? I have seen many folks...

    Growatt issues.

Is there an issue with 48V systems with Solar Charging with not enought PV output to the system to charge? I havn'e dipped my toe into the Solar Panel aspect as of yet but I was concerned with the Minimum Panel Voltage/Output for the 48V system..

Inverter Under AMP (AC IN) issues?

Hi Folks, My Inverter (Growatt 3k) recommends a Max of 40 Amp AC input. If I use a 30 Amp Circuit is there any NEGATIVE (besides slower charging) to the battery? I am just using the system as a GRID backup at this point so slower charging won't be an issue (i hope). Thanks

    Growatt issues.

On My Growatt there is a Label on the right side which has the model number and specifications. I have the 3000TL LVM and it has the Small Roundish display in the Center of the Unit With the "Growatt" label at the top of the unit.
