3D printers are something I don’t think I could live without after having one. Here are some terminal covers I made for my Bus Bars on my battery bank.
Pilot drilled and used #6 x 2” construction screw with glue. The pilot holes were drilled on a horizontal boring machine for a nice straight hole. Baltic Birch is very strong and the 1/2” that I use has 9 plys.
As a retired cabinetmaker, I prefer plywood, I used 1/2 Baltic Birch which is a 9 ply and very rigid and strong. Easy to cut drill and round edges, then I paint with Rustoleum textured paint.
