Update: Dropped the charge and float voltage and everything is looking normal. All battery measurements are in sync including the Multiplus-II. Not sure why this caused my issue but happen it looks like things are now working as they should. Thank you to all for your quick responses - Much...
Gotcha. The distance from the combiner box to the solar charge controller would be no more than 15'. I have the inline fuses already as I didn't have room in the combiner box to house them. Thanks for all your help! This has definitely been a learning experience.
I am now trying to determine my best configuration for the 8 190w HQST Solar panels (Voc 24.3, Isc 10.15A)
I have (2) Victron MPPT 150/100 SCC along with 618ah Lithium Batteries @ 12V
Various configurations I am looking at:
(A) Use the two SCC and use 4 panels on each controller in a 2S2P...
I have a double pole breaker between the Combiner box and the SCC. Since I am pulling in about 41amps, what do you suggest for a dc breaker size? I figured I would also have a 100 AMP DC Breaker between the SCC and the positive bus bar. So I am protecting both the input and output of the SCC...
The vendor stated
Numbers were provided by the vendor via email and also posted on the website. Screen shot of my settings attached. One of the inverter setting and the other of the charger setting. What is concerning isn't so much the actual number - it is that the inverter when charging...
*****. THIS HAS BEEN SOLD *****
The IC Series 3000-Watt Inverter Charger is an inverter, battery charger, and transfer switch in one compact unit and it comes with a remote.
Sold trailer and will not be installing this new Inverter/charger still in the box!

I have been modifying an existing solar system that was factory installed on my large 5th wheel
Original configuration was (3) 190W GoPower Panels Voc(24.09), Isc (9.98A), GoPower 30amp PWM Solar Charge Controller, GoPower 1500 Watt Inverter (handles only the TVs, recliner, Samsung Residential...
Everything has trade offs... You have given me plenty to think about for sure! Added to that, I am trying to decide if I add tilt brackets for the panels and if I would want to climb the ladder every time to actually use it! Thanks again!
I have a toyhauler with (3) 206ah SOK batteries wired in parallel for 618ah. I have a GoPower IC3000 inverter/charger and all has been working well. I configured the IC3000 with the following custom profile for this lithium setup.
Absorption: 14.4
Float: 13.5
Equalization: 14.4
This has been...
Thanks for the response. What is super concerning is that my charge profile is for 14.4 yet my batteries are at 15.6 currently - isn't this telling me that the IC3000 isn't switching to float after hitting 14.4 as it is suppose to?
So after some more thought. If I run 4 parallel strings of (2) panels each to a combiner box (2s4p). I would need to place (1) 30amp MC4 fuses on the positive of each of the strings for a total of (4). The combiner box would have a total of 8 10awg wires (4 positives/4 negatives) connected...
I am selling my Go Power 1500 watt pure sine inverter w/built in transfer switch. I have recently upgraded to a 3000w inverter and no longer need this unit. The unit works great, has a remote on/off panel and connecting cord (connects remote panel to inverter). Inverter was factory installed...
Hello All.
I purchased a toyhauler with 3 190W Go Power Panels and a 30AMP Go Power PWM solar charge controller.
Specs of panel is:
Max Power Voltage (Vmp) 20.4V
Max Power Current (IMP) 9.45A
Open Circuit (VOC) 24.09
Short Circuit Current (9.98)
Not sure gauge of wire to roof gland but...
I have new system which consists of:
Multiplus-II 12V 120 50AMP
Victron SCC
Victron Cerbo GX
Victron Smart Shunt
(3) SOK 206AH wired in parallel 12V
I had my trailer unplugged from shore power for a bit.. then plugged back in. The system seems to perform fine going from BULK to Absorption...
Yes, the old converter was removed when the Inverter/charger was installed. I do have a solar charge controller but I am getting nothing off the panels since the trailer is covered under a roof protecting the RV from the sun. This isn't a new installation, this installation has been...
