How much faster is top balancing cells individually?

Surely the same amount of energy has to be transferred doing 4x cells individually or 4x in parallel?

Hello, can anyone help me determine the version Seplos BMS 3.0?

Its working fine now, and has been on point ever since, within 0.5% of my Victron shunt in terms of SOC and current in/out

    Grid Tie and off Grid

As UK registered MCS installer, Electrician and Napit certified person, a few things to point out in your diagram above, You can't have a 63A MCB from the DNO cutout to your inverter with zero protection in place. You normally have the supply concentric cable from the DNO to the cut out, usually...

Hello, can anyone help me determine the version Seplos BMS 3.0?

Thanks for that, I have just seen the new version release on March 5th, and updated mine and done exactly as you have, full charge to 3.65v per cell and reset both SOC to 100%, we shall see what happens from here on in. don't see how this Cr*P passes QC

Hello, can anyone help me determine the version Seplos BMS 3.0?

They did issue a "fixed" FW but all this changed was the resolution of the shunt down to 1Amp from 5Amp still same SOC issues.

Hello, can anyone help me determine the version Seplos BMS 3.0?

I will start another fresh thread on this, but for the sake of this post there are some serious issues with the Seplos BMS vs 3.0 and SOC, I have the 200amp version 3.0 with active balancer. I noticed on a fully charged pack that in the morning after a discharge my SOC was showing relatively...

ave a Solis S5-GR1P3.6K with datalogger and RAI-3K-48ES-5G AC coupled inv with a US 5000 plyon tech battery AND ACREL 10R SINGLE PHASE METER

Any of the s5 series or bellow don't work too well in parallel mode, it can be done using home assistant but its janky. The S66 model support parallel out of the box.

    Seplos bms bluetooth version

It does use that code, try it on yours, open the BMS software and change the SOC Ah to a lower value youll see it reflect the SOC in the main dashboard.

Looking For Cloud-less Inverter Monitoring Software

Still has Cloud based functions and requires internet to check site ID license against the hardware it's running on.

    Seplos bms bluetooth version

It absolutely is a setting you can change and its supposed to read Ah, if you freshly top balance a pack to 3.65v per cell, you assemble the pack, plug in the BMS, set the capacity to 280Ah if that's your pack size and set the soc to 280ah, that sets your calibrated pack to 100% soc which is...

    Solis/ Ginlong Modbus Comms

Under my resources section youll see the downloads. You cant reliably have the crappy solis cloud/ data logger and local Modbus working at the same time

Single LiFePO4 cell inverter; is it possible?

To chime in, I made a really small but smart "UPS" with a boost converter / charger from a single 3.2V LFP, runs my raspberry pi just lovely

Anyone buying these 305ah envision cells?

I know, I have built probably 80+ packs now and not seen any quite this bad even from B grade cells. I've had them two weeks now, a week to top balance them and then assemble them and test. Unfortunately they are not open at the moment due to Christmas.

Anyone buying these 305ah envision cells?

Here you can see (highlighted) when a 40Amp DC load is applied at around 45% SOC 3.1v per cell, the cell voltage drops off a cliff down to 2.9v in under a minute. Test performed today, 15 Degrees C temp from a fully charged pack that was ticking over around 10Amp discharge all day. You can see...

Anyone buying these 305ah envision cells?

My input on these cells, I purchased some from a UK company called Fogstar, Envision 305Ah grade b. After receiving the cells, checking each visually, running an Internal resistance check on each cell to compare against the name plate rating and finally a top balance of all cells to 3.65v per...
