Yes. inverter works great without PV on. Did a work around to eliminate this. Add two external charge controllers and leave XP PV off and everything is happy. Most amps pulled from batteries with very little solar input was 94 amps. Most AC watts with good solar input was 7800.

You're not alone. My 12000xp also drop ac output at charge limit voltage. XP is on lead acid battery option. Inverter works great as long as it does not hit max charge voltage. I've tried voltage settings from 56 v to 57.5 v and same things happens every time. I've also tried setting the float...

Vendor is working on a fix. I had the charge controllers from previous projects. This is a temp fix until the issue is fixed. If not fixed the XP is going back.

Thanks so much for the reply. Lots to read and take in. I did do some searching but its so confusing. Its a DIY solar generator with 30kw batteries and two 5kw 48v 120v ac inverters. Have 20 300w panels. we just moved here from Texas and had the set up on the porch. And it really paid off...
