Let me know what you find
The code is not user friendly at all. We have to have a system that's certified for insurance on our new off grid home. They certainly do not make it easy. Local electricians don't seem to know what I'm talking about
I think I like the idea of a product sold in canada, by a Canadian company, with Canadian support, and certified in North america. I'll pay the extra for peace of mind
In ontario Canada, the entire system needs to be certified.
If the system isn't certified you can pay to have it possibly certified in a field test done by the ESA.
This process costs a lot of money I've been told. I don't have a pile of money laying around
Any luck? I've been trying to fi d a reasonable ontario canada supplier of solar off grid stuff for months, doesn't seem to be many good options s for all in one spots
Has anyone heard of the code supposedly changing in ontario Canada for battery storage in the basment? I've read an article in cottage country magazine or something saying the government is changing to allow?
I've just been told by lux power the 2 units are the same, brand differences only. I hope this is right. I'll also pay more no problem for support based In canada, and warranty in canada.
Seem
Seems like Canada is way behind the ball when it comes to this. I really don't understand if a new battery system meets all qualifications why it has to be stored in a separate building. They sure don't make it easy to be green or self sufficient
While I hear you on all of these points, I have been in contact with 2 different contributors that have been scared away and the have both received full refunds.
I'll be asking for a refund if they don't get a review out fast.
