I think I like the idea of a product sold in canada, by a Canadian company, with Canadian support, and certified in North america. I'll pay the extra for peace of mind

In ontario Canada, the entire system needs to be certified. If the system isn't certified you can pay to have it possibly certified in a field test done by the ESA. This process costs a lot of money I've been told. I don't have a pile of money laying around

Exactly. I wish the government would catch up to the technology. They want people to be energy efficient yadda yadda, but make it so hard to do so

What about in combination with the eg4 6000xp. I have no need for the large expensive inverter

Hopefully we can get that 9540 with the 6000xp as well, we are off grid and don't need the expensive 18k

I've just been told by lux power the 2 units are the same, brand differences only. I hope this is right. I'll also pay more no problem for support based In canada, and warranty in canada.

Seem Seems like Canada is way behind the ball when it comes to this. I really don't understand if a new battery system meets all qualifications why it has to be stored in a separate building. They sure don't make it easy to be green or self sufficient

While I hear you on all of these points, I have been in contact with 2 different contributors that have been scared away and the have both received full refunds. I'll be asking for a refund if they don't get a review out fast.

Where did you find out they use cheap connectors in this battery. It passes all North American certs, and Canada certs, which are very strict.

I've been told directly from them the use "grade a CATL " cells.

Is the 6000xp ever going to get ul9540 and UL9540A? I believe in most places this is required by code.

I don't make the rules but around here the regulations are ridiculous.

For some reason the 6000xp is not certified. I can't figure out why it's not certified.
