    Australia: 202Ah Lishen cells A$190, 272Ah Lishen cells A$250

Yes, I've also got 15Ah cells for $15 each. They come with cell holders.

    DIY LiFePO4 Starter Battery?

Fair enough. The good thing about this approach is that it's modular, so you can have anywhere between one and 10 (I think, I'll have to check the maximum amount) of batteries in parallel. The cheapest option is still to DIY, if you're into that sort of thing.

    Australia: 202Ah Lishen cells A$190, 272Ah Lishen cells A$250

Cells are sold with an Australian warranty and come with an Australian invoice. The cells are located in north-western Sydney and can either be picked up or shipped Australia wide. The 202Ah cells generally test in the 206Ah to 210Ah range and the 272Ah cells in the 280 to 286Ah range. Come...

    DIY LiFePO4 Starter Battery?

Unfortunately no, given that they're a Daly BMS, they do not. I have to say that I'm not a big fan of serial connections on LiFePO4 batteries either, if you have a single bad/low cell in any of the four batteries, it will pull all of the battery packs down to the same performance of the worst...

    DIY LiFePO4 Starter Battery?

Will do! It will be "Muller Energy". We're trying to expand into the battery market further, initially we were just selling cells, but we're getting a 12V 200Ah custom-made battery shortly and the starter battery will be our next offering. We felt like there were a lot of cheap (but also low...

    DIY LiFePO4 Starter Battery?

Given that you're linking an Australian website, I wanted to let you know that we're working on an innovative new LiFePO4 starter battery that uses supercapacitors to start your engine and the battery to keep the caps charged. The innovative part about it is that even if you accidentally leave...

JBD BMS USA Inventory - Is there Community Interest?

Another silly JBD question from me: I've found some 100A 4S JBD BMS for a very attractive price in China. Does anyone know if it's possible to change the cutoff voltage? It's currently 8.4V, I want it to be 12.4V.

JBD BMS USA Inventory - Is there Community Interest?

Well the one thing I can think of is that four times the voltage would mean 16 times the power flow between batteries.

JBD BMS USA Inventory - Is there Community Interest?

4 batteries, each sealed with cells and BMS inside with only terminals exposed. I'm also thinking that it should work and that one battery shouldn't charge another, given that the curve is really quite flat. There might be a little bit of current flow between batteries when the batteries are...

JBD BMS USA Inventory - Is there Community Interest?

Sorry mate, I misread your post and updated my response. I'm actually talking about putting different BMS in parallel, not battery banks within one BMS.

Edit, no 4 BMSs in parallel with each other.

JBD BMS USA Inventory - Is there Community Interest?

Hi, can I just got confirmation from anyone with 1st hand experience: Can you parallel 16s JBD BMS?

    16s parallel BMS needed (120A+)

Thanks, I've contacted JBD and they've stated that officially only their 4s BMS supports paralleling. Do you know it would work for a fact?

    16s parallel BMS needed (120A+)

But the cells are even rated at 2C for 30s, so I'm not going outside the specs. I'm just saying that these are likely fine to draw 2C continuously, going by other prismatic cells I've played with. But that's not what I'm proposing here at all and I am staying inside the specs. Even if one...
