Robby,
I appreciate it a lot! Words of support really help. My wife and two daughters are in Austria as refugees since the beginning of the war. I am in Kyiv, so now it is safe enough compared to the first two months. We have restored our electricity supply, got used to air raids, and still...
It is so kind of you, Robby. There are no air flights in Ukraine, but tracks and railway cargo work. The government canceled taxes for all goods that help people to live through the blackouts. So many Ukrainians now have batteries, inverters, power banks, generators, and some even solar...
Today is a perfect day for charging and experimenting. #19 and #20 under Li protocol 52 has 56V and 56V. It can't be changed. In spite of this setting and also 40% of "back to battery", the batteries have been charged fully till 99% by solar according to battery pack's BMS. But what is...
It seems to me I solved the problem! I have automation in Home Assistant that uses PV Power and several more sensors to set Max Sell power through mqtt every 10 second. After I replaced 4 SA sensors by relevant Solarman sensors, mqtt started working properly. It looks like it was being blocked...
Hi! Is it possible to change battery capacity to actual one (30KWh)? Growatt does have a setting in menu #10 "Number of series batteries connected", but it does not allow changing it from "4". And now Solar Assistant shows incorrect growth.
UPD: I found it in the advanced settings of Solar...
Hello! I have a Deye inverter and want to configure its Time of Use settings. I want the inverter to sell energy from the battery down to a certain SoC level. Crucially, I only want the battery to charge from solar power, not from the grid. Can this be set up?
Currently, disabling the 'grid...
Is SA has option to get avarage numbers (daily, weekly...) or what tool do you use what that? Going to strat using Home Assistant and as I understand it can do everything, but uses DB of Solar Assist that on my OrangePi and can not use cloud DB of Growatt or Deye (will be installed soon instead...
4 pcs Deye hybrid 6kW in parallel. I tried to connect 1 inverter and data was updated every couple seconds. But as soon as I connect more than one inverter it is becaming slow. There were no such problem with the Orange LTS. Inverters update immideatly through solarman local integration too.
What setting should I use to charge all three batteries to 100% in "Li" program? I have solar, grid, all batteries connected to each other and to inverter. The goal to equal SOC. Now one battery has 5% lower SOC and charging stops at 95%, because Growatt takes SOC from the most charged battery...
Firmware F04 changed nothing with the buzz. Very strange. Two identical inverters with almost the same date of production and one reacts on setting OFF in #15 but the second doesn't. Anyway moving to F04 gives much quieter fan noise.
Hello! Just connected two Deye 6kW in parallel. One is Master modbus 01, the second is Slave modbus 02. COM ports of both are connected to USBs of Orange Pi. In the beginning I see both inverters, but later just one USB connected and only one inverter left in Solar Assistant. What am I doing...
Even better idea! Need clarification, sorry. When dry contacts switch grid off when SOC reaches Setting #13, the inverter continues to charge battery from the solar? But till what setting? Why it goes far more than 50% of Setting #13?
Cables are equal to 1 mm accuracy. 100 mm2 copper busbar, 50 mm2 from battery packs and 35 mm2 split to 2 inverters. May be RS485 cables effect? I remove all of them and it started to work as I wished.
Both 15 and 17 are off, but one of the inverters keeps beeping while pushing the buttons. Only DOWN+ENTER helps. Praise God they have this feature.
Two inverters working in parallel connection both need wifi dongle? Because I see only one in Shine application.
UPD: Installed second wifi dongle...
I use RPi4 for Solar Assistant instead of Orange. 4 invertors connected through RS485 to USB and 6 batteries connected in passive mode to fifth USB of USB HUB with external power (Ugreen). Unfortunately the data from inverters has terribly long update interval from several seconds to several...
Hi
Is it possible to make the inverter charge the battery from the grid to a lower % of SOC, but from the solar to a higher level or maximum? Another way of explanation: for example, SOC point back to utility set 20%, in the evening inverter charges battery taking power from the grid to 50%, but...
Great idea with the small amperage, thank you! It is a good way not to get cut-off in the middle of the night. But unfortunately, it does not save from possible grid shutdown before sufficient SOC or sunrise. Anyway, it is a compromise:)
Connected today Solar Assistant to my parallel Growatts and according to Shine for 4 hours panels produced 1 kWh. I may see it in Shine's day Total, but Solar Assistant Total is empty. 1. Too early to worry? 2. Is it possible to save changed custom colors of legend? 3. Is it possible to remove...
Need to try. #19 and #20 in the manual "If self-defined is selected in program 5, this program can be set up". But I use Lithium protocol #52. Can't test due to lack of sun:)
Connected today Solar Assistant to my parallel Growatts and according to Shine for 4 hours panels produced 1 kWh. I may see it in Shine's day Total, but Solar Assistant Total is empty.
Anybody knows email of support, please?
Today I got a second SPF 5000 ES for parallel working. The new one refused to switch off the buzz. Maybe a firmware upgrade will change it. Now a combination of DOWN+ENTER helped. Non-documented feature:)
1. Does Solar Assistant show feed-in (sold) energy for Deye? I have not solved the issue yet with cables that support Deye and Solar Assistant.
2. As I know now Deye does not allow to make any settings remotely, only from the inverter's screen. Is it correct?
Thank you in advanced!
