The 12kPV seems like it has a large surge capacity. I have not seen the 18kPV advertised or reviewed that way. Is this new one unique in it's surge handling or is the 18kPV similarly designed?

For what it's worth, I have a Goblepower DIY box on order with a PACE 200A BMS. It was quite a bit more expensive than the options that included JK BMS, but I just really didn't want to deal with software issues.
