Europe and Asian 240V PV equipment VS Us's

Not too sure what you all have said. Over here we tap either L1 & L2 with a neutral to get 120V. The phase voltage between L1 & L2 is 240V that the inverter comes up with. Does that mean the Asian and Europe equipment would generates the phase voltage of 480 v between L1 & L2? Is the difference...

Europe and Asian 240V PV equipment VS Us's

Europe and Asian 240V PV equipment VS Us's 120 V I have a small DIY off-grid system. In addition, a friend who help me to built a solar structure to install my grid-tie Enphase PV system. All work well and he was impressed. He has a home in Vietnam and is interested to do a diy off-grid...

    EG4 5.12KWH SOC

I have a PV system with 1.92 KW Solar Panels, a Growatt 3000SPF ES Inverters and EG4 5.12KWH battery. Don't know why the Battery SOC lights only 3 out of 4 lights light up when the voltage reach all the way to 55.8V which is already 100%. Never goes higher. I only see it went above 55.9...

Murray 200A Main Service Panel JA2442B1200SEC/FEC

Does anyone have the above 200A MSP manufactured just over 10 years ago by Murray, now owned by Siemens? It came with a 4-pole 200A MEQ9985 breaker, and because of 120% rule to connect more than 40A of solar back-feed breaker to the MSP, you need to de-rate the main breaker. Siemens said the...

    Off grid people ill-prepared

I was in that mentality when I first wanted to do a DIY Solar and I thought 600W or 1000W solar panels would be able to do wonders. So I bought 2 x 100 SP with a 30A Charge Controller. They were simply kept in the storage. Then I bought 2x320W SP, a 3KW Growatt Inverter and EGC 5.12 KH...

    Growatt SPF 300 LVM-ES

I have a Growatt SPF 3000K LVM-ES, a EG4 -48V100AH battery and 1.92KW solar panels for a years now. I have been using the power to run my freezer, refrigerator, lights and garage opener in my garage. As the weather was getting hot, I also run 1200 BTU Midea Window AC when the SOC is more than...

What do you mean by Tier 1 , Tier 2 etc? You mean top of the line equipment as Tier1?

Massive Tesla Solar Powered EV Charging Station in Barstow California

The way I see is: Imagine in the next few years, everyone is going to install solar panels at their homes and everyone is capable to install their own charging stations at their own homes. Then nobody will go there.

Enphase System with sub panel questions

Does any one has this situation? I have a DIY 2.19W system with Growatt inverter and EG-4 battery Off Grid installed at my garage. That basically supports all my electrical need for my garage. My garage also has a 60A sub panel fed from a 200A Main Service Panel and remain as is. I basically...
