Yeah I think the wind might be a problem with mine. I get some serious wind and cold temps. I even used 8" sch 80 pipe cemented 10 feet in the ground.

I dont have the exact plan. But I was planning on a 15kw Sol Ark Invertor. It wont go up til next year. Just have the mini ex there right now and wanted to get the conduit in. .

They are heliene 385w. I did notice adding the max panels drops it on the voltage drop. Problem is I have 2 strings that will not be max amount of panels.

So, I've ran my wire and am getting ready to wire up my solar project. I was given some bad advice on wire and just ran the numbers through a calculator. I have ran about 305 ft of #10 wire. It calculates out to about a 4.15% drop in voltage. I can run new #8 wire next year, I just cant do it...

I guess where I got confused on the calculator is whether to use the STC or NMOT numbers for the amps, and then I was multiplying by either 7 or 8 for the array. Relooking at the sheet the ISC (a) was 10.18 and IMPP (a) was 9.67. System voltage 1500v.
