Anyone know the specification for generation of a good enough grid signal from an inverter to trick a GTI to function when grid is down? I assume in the US the inverter would need to produce 240v@60hz. But is there any other documented requirements like impedance needed from the inverters "grid"...

I was told by a solar contractor that he tracked down low solar production issues from a customer. Issue was grid throttling using what I took to mean frequency. He said the inverter manufacturer spotted the throttling while troubleshooting. So no I don’t have proof but I am looking I was...

So how would we track/keep an eye out for automatic curtailing? Might be hard to see from power output alone

Do we have of way of tracking PGE’s curtailing commands? Just logging grid frequencies?

I believe 8.9kw is the maximum output I will see from the Enphase GTI. So at worst 1.3kw will clip. But is it correct to think that since the GTI is connected directly to the critical load panel, and I have say 2kw of continuous critical loads, no power will be clipped?

@Ampster Could you explain what would happen if I AC coupled my 10.5kW LG panels powered by Enphase IQ7+ microinverters to the Skybox? Would anything over 5kW get clipped?

@GXMnow do you have any other links showing the 6848 with Enphase? I have 10.5kw on 3 strings using IQ7+ from Enphase. Also do you know the max the 6848 Pro can accept from Enphase GT?
