Have had a dual 3048 system running for months. Suddenly one unit is not detecting the solar array it is connected too. Checked by flipping the panels to the other unit and it detects them just fine. So clearly the issue is at the MPP Unit. Both units are connected to 700w, 9amps, 80v, so well...

Ok thats done. No AC Output ground connected. Going to take the ground and connect it directly to the hull ground plate. The AC input is not grounded (as it doesnt exist yet for US 110v, so when i put it in i would ground it to the boat) Thanks for the help ! Glad i double checked here ...

Thanks !! I was starting to think about disconnecting the AC Ground Output and just connect directly to the ground! As for the Genset/Shore power. It would literally be one or the other with a switch that opens/closes the circuits to isolate the generator if i ever did hook up to shore power.

I am doing both. 2 separate 110v circuits, and 1 combined split phase circuit. So should I have both units share their AC output grounds? Or should I disconnect one or both of them?

I had similar issues. Changed the logic on Program 32 : Bulk Charge Time (C.V Stage) from AUTO to 480 (8 hours) I think its more getting it off Auto mode as that appears to make a bad choice and start Floating immediately. Another thing, bank needs to be below Float for BULK charing to kick in...
