I have a 11,500 watts with 30 panels with two string sunny boy inverters 5.0 -1-SP-US-41. I have had the system for five years and have been very happy with the production. My EC is not solar friendly and I am sending too many watts back to the grid and only receiving 3 cents for each. Since the rebate may end in December, looking to add a battery to help with night time use.
Current or Future Solar Power System
As stated above, I have a 11,500 watts with 30 panels for the last five years. Am looking for advice on what would be the easiest and cheapest way to have a battery. I did all the work on my system except the electrical. I need to do this project as cost effective as possible to recoup my investment so it makes good sense to purchase a battery or batteries.
I would be happy with a 15kwh of power at night.
