The Heat+CAN mode has Heat output and CAN(not used as it is proprietary JK protocol)
Both will work, if you need the heat function get the Heat version if not, get the non Heat version.
Every single product/software is based on work by someone else, if the eg IEEE didn't make the standards no one would have standards for anything, nothing would work.

The cost to build and manufacture a product is not the cost of the raw materials.
There is significant cost in labour to build the product, manage the inventory (import taxes), packing and shipping, payment processing fees, and provide support

Yep you are totally right.
Too many people that caused me to stop supporting this open source, as they:
Complain about everything
Want everything for free
Don't provide any financial support
Want many hours of support for free, to help build hardware/firmware which they have no experience...
I have a first generation, retrofit battery inverter, no issues with it.
They come with a 10 year warranty here, check your local website for warranty info, it might differ by country.
No that inverter does not support Pylon over CAN Bus.
Nor do any of the Voltronic.
CAN and RS485 are two completely different communication interfaces, electrically they are totally different.
Goodwe is less than 10W self consumption at night...
This suggests it only supports RS485, confirm 300% with the seller and manufacturer, that it supports pylon over CAN bus!!!!

I have a board that is powered directly from the JK BMS.
Last time I checked they only supported RS485, confirm 300% with the seller and manufacturer, that it supports pylon over CAN bus!!!!
You do not need the JK CAN model/heat BMS, The CAN is their own standard not used by inverters, and the BMS is not upgradeable.
Once you have the BMS connected to the Cerbo, with my interface, you can select which is used in the victron system, it is set to Automatic by default.
The EG4 6000XP seems to support Pylon CAN protocol, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.
It uses the UART port that the dongle uses.
Consider the JK-BMS if you want both Bluetooth app and my board connected.
I have replied to your private conversation also.
Regards.
Hi,
Logs show you have no communications with the inverter, I test all my boards before shipping, so maybe a cabling and inverter config issue.
My interface board is wired. Pin 4 CAN H, Pin 5 CAN L it should be straight through cable, CAN H connects to CAN H etc.
Can you confirm your...
