thanks for your response! Program I used for the diagram is Adobe Illustrator. Its a vector based software as opposed to Photoshop, which is pixel based. Its better for logo design etc. and great for wiring diagrams. The fuses I have in place in the lynx distributor are sufficient for the...
I am just about ready to put my electrical system together and was hoping to get some feedback to make sure everything looks correct. I am really pushing the Lynx distributor by adding an additional connection and am wondering if this is an acceptable solution or if I should split the components...
I have a nilight lightbar which I have wired to my starter battery. The rocker switch that it came with is a 12v 20amp switch but that switch does not fit in the dash- and I don't want to custom install it. I found a switch that fits perfectly in the blank spaces but it is a 12v 16amp switch...

After searching the Electrodacus forum, Dacian (owner of ED) said you will need a 4s system if running 12v, thus 3P4S is his recommended configuration. Boo. I like the idea and redundancy of having 3 X 4S batteries. I...
I have the following components:
5 X 100 Watt Renogy Mono Panels (in series)
100/30 Victron Solar Controller
100/20 Victron Solar Controller
12 12 - 30 Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger
3000 Watt Victron Charger Inverter
I would much rather do 4s3p but was under the impression it was better to do it the other way? I bought the Electrodacus SBMS0 so was planning on just using one bms. Thoughts?
Its going inside a Sprinter Van parallel with the wheel well of the passanger side (in the dinette bench). I was wondering what I should use for the connection, so 4/0 cable it is! thanks for the advice. I might go with three enclosures... maybe four to keep parallel cells together.
I am building an 840AH 12v battery bank. Max draw would not be greater than 200amps. I want to build two battery boxes for the cells to make it easier to transport. Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated. Please note- I don't want to move to a 24v system.
Thanks in advance!
Im an idiot. I had the negative cable of my voltage meter plugged into the wrong input. When I plugged it into the proper ground input, my cells read 3.44. This is going to be a long build I think ? Thanks for your responses.
I top balanced my 280AH Eve cells to 3.65 and then let them sit for 2 months as I got slammed with other works. Was this bad for the cells?
They are currently sitting at 2.82v. Should I top balance them again?
I have 12 Eve 280AH Grade A brand new cells from Amy. The resting voltage of them was around 3.29 and each cell was within about .001 of each other. great.
After realizing I didn't purchase additional bus bars, I could only top balance six of the cells in parallel at a time. no problem.
I...
So I would only use one BMS for the 3p4S configuration? Looking at the REC ABMS and it says it’s for 4 cells in series, which made me believe I would need to buy 3 of them.
