All is well, the retailer has sent replacement panels, this morning early, with the sun low in the sky 2amps with the Isc check. Happy days, now to mount them and connect to the Renogy. :) Thanks to all for the help... Clearly supplied a bad batch of panels.

Yes correct, the same. Close inspection revealed one panel with a small crack but the voltage was still almost the same, give or take .25 of a volt.

Sorry John all the answers as above. Renogy DCDC, Panels 100w 21.4voc 5.5amps are the specs. MC4 connectors. No Combiner. No fault with the Renogy as the 100w foldable goes to 3.6 to 3.9 amps so have disconnected all panels from the controller and the volts are in spec (19.8v) but the amps...

Full sun overhead, all tests using Isc with my amp meter in a 3 minute window and the foldable panel which I know is functioning correctly in the same 3 min. window using Isc was 3.8amps and it is a really old ebay cheapie..... Gold Coast -28.00029, 153.43088
