You can plug it into any wall outlet but you have to remember to unplug the AC charger every time you switch from gas generator to solar generator. Went out to the cabin and added the two additional expansion batteries. Didn't have time to really clean all the wiring up how I want it and need to lower the shelf but overall happy with the expansion.
