You made some good points. My concern is will there be enough solar capacity to charge those large batteries. And yes, if there is no adequate sunshine for a few days the batteries may not adequately recharge, although i can use my main solar array to top them off if needed.

I would not use more than 25% capacity weekly, most likely it would be around 15% weekly. I guess i will need to do some experimenting and figure out the charging profiles that actually work.
