It's strange, I was hunting for the PS1004 GoWISE Power 3000W from Will's video, but found the Renergy 3000w to cost less even before the current sale price.
I presume the Renergy to be at least as good?

Is there an Aliexpress equivalent 12v - 220/230 3000w inverter recommendation?
One with the plugin lead on/off switch would be nice.

If you really need 3000w I recommend 24 volts. Nothing special about Renogy. Are you looking for an all-in-one or dedicated inverter only?
Its a brand name thing I guess. Seemed ok in my searches, and not knowing any better :)
I already have an mppt controller coming, so need the inverter only. I suppose the 2000w-3000w range?
Are they all really much the same build quality anyway?

Most people plug what they have. I had a Xantrex 1800 die way too quick so can't say much good about those. Currently I use GoPower and they have been great. I have the stand alone version. Have read issues about the inverter/charger version. Personally I like separate components over the all-in-one versions. If low price is a top priority... I can't help much.

What kind of loads are you going to use with the inverter? If you have appliance with high surge, I.E. fridge compressor which can have 3 ~ 5 times the normal running power , then you have to make sure it will be able to start it up.

I watched the 24v build video, I'm getting the idea now that 24v is much better, and the cells I ordered make it no more difficult to build than 12v.
A lot more power apparently from the same hardware. The high surge startup is why I thought a 5000W inverter would be necessary, or a soft start just for high draw induction motor tools that would only be run briefly on occasion. The rest of the time the gear running would be pretty low use rv appliances. I have an ancient 3 way fridge that runs 230vac, I realise that 12v is not as critical to run as it first appeared.
If I had to prioritise, it would probably be the maxxfan to beat condensation, refrigeration and then the water pump/filter.
