Last year I bought the new and improved, black-shelled Giandel 2200w with 3 year warranty.

This year, a few months back, it died.

Giandel sent me a replacement, good to their word.

But the bearings in the replacement's fans are already grinding louder than a coffee grinder after a few months!

Decided to steer clear of Giandel from now on. Still on the fence about Renogy.

Starting to think I may switch to Victron for all future builds.

Can anyone with Giandel post some photos of the internals?
I think I recall they have those pics on their website
Either way: mine’s 1200W psw and 3+ years old. Very seldom do the fans come on unless I’m making coffee while the fridge is running (5 minutes) or if I’m running the shopvac the fans always run a minute or two.
If the fan is running often enough to be annoying it’s possible that the inverter is too small.

EDIT
Just to clarify- the Giandel is a lower-cost brand with a good reputation. Nevertheless, running it at 100% or 80% is in my view not a good idea. 50% regularly or occasional short-time 75% is what my intentional self-imposed limits are. I advise the same unless you buy at the high dollar/high quality price point where survivability at 90-100% seems to be expected and common.
