24 x 200ah cells to make biggest ah 24v battery.

I'm not really sure what "based on" means exactly but the onw I got from Minerals has Jikong printed right on the bms and uses the JK app, so if it's not a legit JK bms they did a great job "basing it on it." Lol

It is strange the JK website doesn't list these. HeltecBMS seems to have an 8S version as well. All the JK-variants 8S with 2A balancing are 200A only.

I have no idea how they do this. :)

I just received this from the seller I purchased mine from and it looks like it accepts 20-40v so we should all be good.

Now does anyone know if the RS485 port on this bms will talk to a Growatt? And if so, what all that would entail as far as setting it up? I'm communications protocol dumb.
I finally recieved the comms connector from JK. I was searching everywhere for the tiny white connector that plugs into the BMS. I think these convert CAN to RS485, as I have the 200amp Heltec version with the CAN connector.
I will be testing soon though, as I need to make the RJ45's with the right pinouts, and it looks like multiple methods are available depending on where you look.
