I picked up this combo (high-leverage cutter and cable lug crimper). There is a cheaper crimper only option in stock now (that wasn't when I bought) I had read the reviews and noted that the crimper was not always sized correctly. My short assessment after wiring my boat. I used 6AWG to 10AWG wire. For the 10AWG and smaller (balance cables), I used this Klein Crimper which worked generally flawlessly.
It took a bit of practice. There were a couple of garbage crimps and now, I wouldn't use the IWISS on the nylon connectors - it seemed to chew through those. The larger gauge (6AWG and 8AWG tinned copper lugs seemed to work best.

The one tip i can offer is when you line up the crimp, there is a bit a play in the rotating dies so make sure they line up nicely at from the start.

How has sizing been? Does yours leave tie-fighter “wings?” Fit properly?

I have this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09125K4S...abc_KZ5XPG5P8H7M7MHANNKM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

And maybe it was the cheap(thin?) 5/16” lugs available locally but crimping 2ga lugs onto 2ga cable: while they didn’t adequately crimp on the 2 position, the 4 position mechanically did the deed. But it left the wings which isn’t the greatest to waterproof with heat shrink and otherwise looks janky

agreed, I later re-did some crimps with a slight oversize to avoid the wings. Not professional looking but also wasn't in price.
