Possible increase of heart attack risk after mRNA vaccine.

If anyone has noticed, the typical democrat voter today thinks it's ok to force someone to agree with their position.
They think endless booster shots are safe ? We will force you to take them.
If you resist ? We will make them a condition of employment or buying food.
And this applies to anything we decide is best for you. You will obey.
You will drive the car we decide is best. Your thermostat will be under government control because of climate change.

We are doing this because we care and want the best for you. There will be Utopia on earth.
There will always be Authoritarians. Looks like they changed religion to New Age and politics to Progressive.

I'm sure the billion dollar drug companies want that too. Along with stock holding members of Congress.
It's in their interest to obstruct and disparage low cost solutions.
Why provide a cheap cure when you can sell palliatives?
A vaccine is not a palliative. Prevention is always preferred treatment. There are a number of generic drugs being utilized for the treatment of Covid.

I was just responding to BMcl's misstatement about the popularity of the bill.

I was suggesting the news media could be publishing an engineered poll result, for the purpose of swaying the population in the desired way.
The survey was of 1999 people, extrapolated to 350,000,000 Americans.
Just like "Four out of Five leading Doctors", one could maintain an inventory of people to "randomly" call, perhaps as a paid service, to support any result you want.

Pretty sure the authoritarians are the ones wanting to overthrow elections and limit voting rights. Authoritarians are not ardent supporters of free and fair elections. Sorry.

True, but most quickly turned on Bush when they realized he had no plan once he gained control of Iraq.
That's an important detail for Pres Bush to forget.

Doesn't matter.
He got what we wanted, there was no turning back, and we paid the price. Including to rebuild the infrastructure of Iraq (with payoffs to warlords along the way.)

Dems are talking about vax passports, which will force you to get boosters forever just to work and eat. This is serious communistic talk.

The democrats are no longer a common-sense party. They want POWER, period.
If the situation dictates needing a vaccination that is not in our control such as international travel.... the passport would be a welcome benefit.
Well known that some work situations spread the covid between employees very efficiently....

No, I don't see the power play as much as having genuine concern about the health of the general population.

In time I would expect the passport to be unnecessary and it would be removed when there was no reason to show it. It would be great to wear no mask when using public transportation such as air travel. Passport could reduce or eliminate the need to mask up because it would be verified at point of travel. Instead apparently we are stuck wearing masks. I see the passport as freedom.

Probably be obsolete before the passport is even put in place. This was not known in advance.

Sure, this was numerous polls, however. But go with a conspiracy.

For the record, there are republican states that actually have laws on their books that state you must proclaim you believe in God in order to run for office.

Now tell me again about the democrats forcing someone to agree with their position?

I don't know either. We require shirts and shoes for service. Employees need to wash their hands in restaurants before making or serving food. We have to wear seat belts or we will get a ticket. We cannot drive drunk or speed. You cannot smoke in public buildings. Why all the screams of authoritarian rule now?

Sure, this was numerous polls, however. But go with a conspiracy.

Yes, I know the public usually wants the government to spend money on things for them. Someone else can pay for it.

I also remember the polls showed Hillary would win by a large margin.

If nothing else, polls are limited to response from people willing to participate in a poll. I prefer to do so only at the polls.

Again you are missing the damn point. BMcl made a misstatement of truth.

Because injecting a substance into one's body is far more invasive.

Vaccine for Covid became mandatory for many even before it received FDA approval.
The paperwork requires the victim (I mean patient) to agree it is his voluntary choice, and no one at all bears any responsibility if there are problems.
Even with FDA approval, it is a trade-off of benefit vs. risk. That ratio differs for different portions of the population.
I believe business owners should be allowed to implement the restriction. People can use the drive-up window if they don't meet requirements to go inside. Unfortunately, some (Republican) states forbid business owners from doing that.

The number of engineers in the disinformation camp here is remarkable. We all know they suffer from linear thinking but this isn't linear thinking. This is the adoption of conspiracy theory to explain what they cannot understand. You take them out of their regimented area of expertise and they are like flopping fish on the shore.

I'm referring to the inaccuracy of reporting, and surveys engineered to produce desired results. Those are obvious in most applications, so with most of MSM pushing vaccination and the threat of covid, excuse me if I don't trust everything I read. I am fully vaccinated (after reading Pfizer phase-3 results), but perhaps won't be after the bar gets moved.

I was referring to polling on the infrastructure bill not Covid.

I don't disagr5ee that polling is generally a very bad tool to utilize in discerning truth.

Sorry, had a senior moment.

Any polling and any MSM reporting is suspect.

Years ago, we were told over and over again how bad cholesterol and eggs were for us. Far more money spent on the message than the research. A position that was later reversed.

As I said about laws and sausages, to get bipartisan support, many things are cobbled together. Give everybody something and you can get a majority to support the bill. Even though it is on average a net drain for those who earn money and pay their own way. But a boon to those who get free handouts or pork.

The surveys may in fact be accurate. I didn't look to see if other surveys agreed with the popular support. I just marveled at how the claim in the article you linked was based on a total of 1999 people.

I don't disagr5ee that polling is generally a very bad tool to utilize in discerning truth.

I'm sure there's a law somewhere about spitting on sidewalks but that hardly compares
to forced vaccination for a disease that mainly attacks unhealthy older seniors.
You're straining to make the comparison. This is how countries turn communist.
They weasel their way in with promises of utopia and it always ends in dictatorship.

LOL.. Forcing someone to believe in a religion is not "spitting on sidewalks"..

So screw the unhealthy older seniors? You must be a young one... that explains things better.

Something seriously wrong with our current young generation of people.
