Tell me about your Large Offgrid System Inverter(s)

If you power your entire household off grid, and use a fair amount of electricity (comparable with typical on grid household usage, but maybe minus some electric appliances you can instead use gas for), tell me what inverter(s) you picked and how they're treating you. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

i went the diy route, built using the eg8010 chip as basis , this was the board I settled on

, with a professionally wound transformer (10kw rated, dyne industries, Melbourne Australia) , the original transformer was a self wound one oil cooled, ran for 4 years without issue, but i got this one for a steal so swapped them out... all completely replaceable components, no " proprietary" crap.. built and programmed a diy temp based fan controller with arduino, not for everyone, but very satisfying...

ive pulled 9kw through this sucker for hours( NQ heat and aircons) and never missed a beat.. impedance is the same as the grid, starts anything ...
