Well it was easy to open up only a small bit of the lid was actually glued on, I found a couple of wires pinched and the the rest is self explanatory in the photos ...
I cant believe that I had these batteries connected in Series running a 2400w inverter off them, I drew 50A for more than 30 minutes quite e few times but was mostly running at 5A to 15A.

Some more thoughts and questions about this battery:
1. From the pictures I can't see any temp sensors. Did you find any ?
2. Did you do a capacity test?
3. Pretty strange that they put a 50A BMS for a 100Ah battery (maybe the capacity test will tell us otherwise). But at least it's a JBD.
4. All that solder is ugly, but I really don't understand their build: They made a custom PCB, laser welded the connector to the terminals on the lid. Maybe solder is cheap, but it takes more time to do (which is also money). The custom PCB is also worth a few pennies... Maybe the money they saved on the BMS went for other things.

yeah, a capacity test maybe revealing. Never feel comfortable if can't see each cell voltage.

BTW, does the spec on the sticker show Max Discharging Current: 50A?
The spec I found indicating 50A Max discharge.

I pulled my one apart also.
They are used 60ah cells with some life left in them.
My capacity test was 115ah.

Do you reckon these are the same as the Everglow 100ah that look pretty much the same?
I have two and want to upgrade the BMS so I can run them in series, wondering if I should buy two new 4S series BMS, like a JBD as it would drop in, or a new case and a single 8S BMS?! I cap tested them both at just over 100ah btw

That ain't nothing. At least your BMS looked nicely mounted. Mine were crooked. What really gets me is that these things actually work as advertised.

Check out this soldering job.

That is nothing... look at this guy:

Looks like he didn't learn his lesson so he goes and buys a new one:

24v 300AH that actually are 24v 60AH.
I know! and now he is complaining about not having luck getting his money back.

In the case of ScreamPower, their customer support is far, far better than I would expect. In fact, after I blew up the original BMS (blewed it up real good with magic smoke and everything), they sent me a new one for free but they used counterfeit postage so I had to pay 8 bucks in postage. Worst soldering job ever but it works fine.

These Chinese companies are a laugh a minute.
