AC200MAX + Renogy 100watt Flex panels...HOW MANY?

Solar Input 900W(10-145V):
RICH SOLAR 200 Watt 12 Volt Moncrystalline Solar Panel
  • Maximum Power Voltage(Vmp): 20.4V
  • Maximum Power Current(Imp): 9.80A
  • Open Circuit Voltage(Voc): 24.3V
  • Short Circuit Current(Isc): 10.2A

4 of these is series would be about 82Voc which works well staying under 145V.
MC4 connectors are pretty much the standard. I see in the comments that they don't work with some other MC4 connectors. They will likely work between the panels in your series connections. If you have problems mating with your AC200MAX (it has MC4 connectors?) you could easily put new/better connectors on the 2 wires on the end.

This isn't a very competitive price, craigslist is fairly easy to get big cheap panels for $.50 per watt. If you post a zip code, i can have a look or maybe recommend a source.

My friend, thank you for digging into this one. I'm starting to absorb something that will eventually become knowledge thanks to you and a few others and I am VERY grateful.

Today I care FAR less about price than I do about getting the right equipment ASAP.
ON THE "GOOD/CHEAP OR FAST" prioritization IM ? "GOOD AND FAST" Cheap isn't even on my list of concerns.

If I can identify a good quality panel that's reasonably compact that's also available to ship, I'm good to go. To that end, I heard Wills review of Rich panels, they seems to be good, in terms of quality do y'all feel like it's up there on quality, or is there brands that are decidedly better / tougher / more efficient (not massive so I can move them)
And yes I'm a big 54 year old kid, 6' 250lbs of muscle, the rest is grit. But if I needed to load up and go, I don't want to fill the trailer up with solar and leave everything else behind... In the end are there better made panels that more efficiently deliver power for the AC200MAX?
If I get this panel should I get 5 instead of 4?
Or look at another panel?
OH I MEANT TO ASK!!!
Need some objective opinion Is there a huge difference between the several different types of cells? I'm seeing conflicting info
