Has anyone come across this battery? It has an on/off switch, charging port, and usb ports. It claims to have to have a low temp sensor and a high temp sensor. But does it? This is one for Will to tear apart!

Interesting design... I dont like the brass terminals, but so many are shipping with that for marine use.
Looks like a wimpy charger, but included, why not?
Decent price, and options with dimensions and capacities...

Wow! That is a definitely a re-labelled battery. It is identical to the one I posted. It seems to be built well. I saw the high temp sensor on the mosfet but I did not see the low temp sensor unless I missed it.

Would this be considered a good buy?

I'd say good buy is a relative term. Depends on what you want to use it for. Are you looking for something that can act as a mobile power station?

I don't have any experience with pouch cells, if that is indeed what is being used. I just know they need room to swell and contract.

Didn't see anything stating how many you can parallel together if you are intending on building a larger bank. I may just be missing that point in the description.

I am not crazy about the pouch cells either. I have seen a few videos about them and they were not the favorite choice for cells. Maybe I will keep looking. Thanks for the reply.

Think it only has over temp but specs say -20 operating.

pouch cells are fairly common, newer cells are cased as pouch cells were easily damaged in transit. same chemistry. The eco worthy brand use 4 cells but cost a lot more too. You really do get what you pay for in most cases. I also saw a teardown by the same guy on a battery that uses cylinder cells and tested over spec for a decent cost. Forget the brand though.
