Ross Mitchel (see link above) built this LTO battery. i want to build a similar one but at 12v or 24v and charge off a 9000w generator, instead of solar panels. i am looking for the right batery charger to charge it as fast as possible. any ideas. thanks

"charge it as fast as possible" - doesn't this depend on how big it is?

"9000w generator" = even charging at 100A, you're only going to be charging at 1200/2400W - both of which are very inefficient power levels for a 9kW generator. You'll use 30% more fuel than you would around 6.3kW. Consider a smaller generator.

If his battery bank was good sized probably could charge over 600amps it would be one heck of a charger. LTO's have 15 minute charge time! Not anyone would likely charge quite that fast

From my experience you can parallel multiple if keeping it under top voltage which lead chargers do but I'm pretty sure that it requires dumb chargers computer controlled would need to be connected to talk to each other like mppt charge controllers. I've hooked multiple battery chargers up to my truck batteries without a problem but never till top charge just to boost it for getting it quickly started.

Yeah the guy from the video has pcb plans for a great bms system pretty cool. Round to fit on the end of the cell.

Here's the link to that custom bms that guy made for that battery system
