Brand New 100% Original True Capacity Yinlong 66160 2.3V 40Ah Lithium Titanate LTO Battery 12V

Link?

It seems you forgot to post the link. But if you just want to know about this LTO battery, it's fine. Yinlong is one of the best brands in LTO batteries, with the best safety and tens of thousands of cycles. The downside is that it's too expensive, too expensive...and the energy density isn't that high.

I'm liking mine not having to worry about over discharging them but they aren't energy dense so they take up more space remember it takes 6 for twelve volts vs 4 lifepo4 which is where the extra cost is overlooked at first. But they are superior in safety "fire" charge discharge rates no low temperature issues. They can be run down to zero without harming longevity and shouldn't need a bms just a balancer. Though the more you try to to charge the last %5 of storage the more one group of cells can spike in voltage enough to damage a group. Me and some other people here are okay with keeping just below maximum charge.

$900 + shipping for a 12v 120ah battery makes it a bit of a niche product considering the price of LiFePO4

I really wanted to make LTO cells work for me due to the characteristics, but I would need roughly 200 40Ah cells to make the same capacity battery as 16 x 304Ah LFP cells. At about three to four times the price I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Space for that many cells could be an issue for some as well.

I also couldn't figure out from all of the ads for them whether they are actually new or used for ten years in a bus, then sold to us "good for another twenty years."
