Looking to read kwh in and kwh out of battery

I've rolled my own kwh energy meter for energy in and out of the battery by sampling the watts in/out at a fixed interval. It works but it's all getting to be alot to maintain. So I was wondering, is there perhaps some type of shunt ot "box" that can measure the kwh in and out of the battery that I can read out via modbus/rs485/bluetooth whatever ?

I use a Victron BMV-712 now which I like a lot. Victron also has the Smart Shunts, but one reason I got the BMV Battery Monitor, is the remote display has the bluetooth transmitter on it, so it can be closer to me in the kitchen of the motorhome and phone/laptop gets better bluetooth reception than if it had to connect to a Victron Smart Shunt down in the basement of the RV where the batteries are. The BMV has the display and shunt separated by a long data cable...

Ok .. I got a Victron Energy smartshunt. I can read the kwhin/kwhout from it.
