Yea, I agree with that on many fronts.
I'm no CPA, but I'm very familiar with audits. If I have a receipt for PV equipment and I can show a photo of it installed on my home, I'd expect that to be enough. If you want an actual CPA opinion, I can get one.
What if I buy "B" grade panels off craiglist or FB? I'll get a receipt but who is to say that these were ever in service or not?

I assume upgrading equipment is covered under the credit? I would like to upgrade my batteries to LFP .
