This is a description to connect the DALY BMS UART interface directly with - in this case - a Raspberry Pi. On one hand, this saves energy the USB adapter draws and eliminates one components that might fail and on the other enables waking up the BMS when information is needed. This feature is briefly described under topic 5 in this document.
