Tigo Wiring 101 2025-12-06

Tigo provides two lines of products:

• Compliance with Rapid Shutdown requirements
• PV optimization
• Panel Level Data Reporting.

This paper gives a high-level overview of the wiring layout for both lines of products. This information should give the reader a good understanding of how each type is wired and is a good pre-purchase resource. However, this is not a comprehensive installation manual. The reader is encouraged to read the specific manuals for their TIGO products. If there are discrepancies between the Tigo documentation and this paper, the Tigo Documentation should be considered correct.

This paper does NOT provide instructions on configuration, commissioning and monitoring of the Optimizer system.
