The other point on the overcharging is that this happens only when the PV is charging. I shut down the Grid source before leaving home this week. So this tells me the Charge controller is not working right. Only option to further explore is to calibrate the Voltage reading between the Batteries...

Thank you for your comments. This is my point. There is no support for the Inverters. Ordinarily there should be some form of guidance from the manufacturer, but this is not the case here. You are left with trial and error. Like you said it is about continuous fiddling. And that gets tiring...

I have 2 x Growatt ES Inverters as well. The Growatt apps - Mobile and Web show the Batteries jumping from 75% - 100% - 75% within 15 mins with no load on the batteries. Please share guidelines on calibrating Growatt Readings with Batteries' Voltage. Thank you.

Thank you all for the responses. The BMS cut off the discharge. So hopefully that was done at a safe SOC. The expectation was for the Inverters to have done that which did not happen since it was set at 42V. I will monitor the batteries for a week. Fingers crossed.

Wow. I thought it was too low. Setting 11 - Maximum Utility Charging Current is set to 30A (Range is 0 - 80A) OK. Will try this out. But please explain why this could help. Sorry. Newbie.
