Tigo data on EG4 monitoring portal

Was anyone able to get this to work? I can't get the Tigo information to show up in EG4 monitor.

    Signature solar

I had a quick call this morning with signature solar on my 6000xp. Call was answered fast. I got a new guy out of training, but he told me that at the top of the call and asked if that was okay. I had time, so cool. I thought i had a hard problem, error on internal communication, but he helped...

Yes. And I paid for premium. Frustrating.

    eg4 6000xp as a "generator"?

I've played a bit with this, but not gotten it to work. I think it's something with the settings. @Will Prowse that would be a great video!

Eg4 power pro budget model and LL v2.

I saw Wills video on the powerpro budget model. I already have 6 eg4 LLs. I'm wanting to add on, and was just about ready to buy 3 more server rack batteries, but I really like the power pro. Will communication work between the two?

    Help with EG4 LL V2 and EG4 LL-S batteries

Hey guys! I have EG4 ll batteries from solar sovereign. One of them is showing below from bms tools. Solar sovereign is a long way out from getting back to me, but thought I'd see if anyone has seen this before?

    Eg4 ll battery multiple errors

I've suddenly started having problems with one of my eg4 LL batteries. On Monday my 18kpv ended up with a short on the dc bus. While waiting to get a new one I was updating the firmware. All was going well until this battery. Below is what I see when I plug it in and rum bms tools. I got the...

Signature Solar Experience, Bad or Good

I totally agree. They have been fair and reasonable with me. More than that, many of them are quite fun!

Signature Solar Experience, Bad or Good

Edit: to add to my experience, @SignatureSolarJess just let me know my 18k has shipped. 28 hours after I called with the failure. Seems quite excellent to me.

Signature Solar Experience, Bad or Good

I'd also like to mention that my experience with SS has been quite good. No one likes an inverter to go out. But, mine went out yesterday. About 30 minute wait for tech (Gavin) and then we spent 45 going through everything. Was sent to resolutions- (Chris and Jonathan) and they worked with me on...

Signature Solar Experience, Bad or Good

My new one is on the way soon. The only difference is mine had been running for quite a while and then just stopped. I hope we can find out the cause when they get our old ones.

Signature Solar Experience, Bad or Good

Fascinating. I just had the same experience. 18k was running for 7 or 8 months flawlessly, the suddenly a couple of days ago batteries were giving an error. I got to troublesboot with them quickly, though, and concluded shorted DC bus, which they also told me was really uncommon. What I don't...

    Eg4 18kpv dead short

Well, I guess the resolution is to get instructions via email, tear the system apart, leave it open while old one ships and new one ships after they get the old one.

    Eg4 18kpv dead short

Bad battery connection? I had them torqued right, and nothing felt loose. But that's the only connection I checked closely.

For sure! On the phone it sounded easy enough. Had to Send some photos, which I did right away. But we shall see. Really need it fast, though.

    Eg4 18kpv dead short

I've had my 18kpv up and running for about a year. I can't say enough good about it. However, this morning it stopped working suddenly at 9:35. Battery error. After calling sig solar (speedy quick and patient with me) we did some troubleshooting and it appears to be a dead short on the batt side...

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

I'm running firmware fAAB-1111. Works brilliantly for me. I had upgraded to a newer one a while back, but it was feeding back to the grid so Gilbert logged on and put me back to where I was. I'm wondering if there is anything I'm missing by not grabbing a new firmware now. Just hesitant since...

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

This was my issue. I don't want any grid between 9a and 9p since I'm on time of use. Using the newest firmware it was pulling from grid like you show. So I went back. Interesting.

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

I get what you are saying, I thought the same. But they are trying to fix different use cases. For me 1110 works best. I don't want grid feed in during peak hours. It works perfectly. When I had the most recent firmware, it operated as you described. I had to shut grid power down.

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

Gilbert had to move mine back to 1110, now it works fine again, but I experienced the same after updating. Perhaps some notes on which version to use depending on use case.

This is true. Gilbert just had to move me back another version and all is working swimmingly.

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

I updated my inverter to fAAB-1312 firmware. Prior, I had the inverter set to shut off grid power at 8:58am until 9:02pm. (Time of use rates). Since updating, however, it continues to pull from the grid between those times. I'm back to flipping the breaker that feeds the inverter. Did the logic...

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

It is closed loop. Solar production was about the same, a little less today. Your point about it being controlled by the BMS is curious. I'll look at that later. Perhaps thats what it is.

    Optimizers?

Looking for a bit of advice. I live in a suburban area and have a ground mount system. I have 20 400w panels. In midday they produce wildly well. In the mornings and afternoons, not so much. Some of each string is shaded by tree or home. Would optimizers on each panel help, do you think? And...

    EG4 18kPV Q+A general thread

This was wildly helpful to me in getting mine setup. Gave Gilbert my info, he logged in, told me what he was changing and why, after asking me what I was trying to get the inverter to do. THEN, he double checked things the next couple of days and texted me if something was off. In one case he...

That is true, I think. Grid assist doesn't seem to work for the zero export to work.

He wants an 18kpv, my friend! I love it and ordered a second one. The last firmware- being tested - was the key for me. I haven't had a problem with energy to the grid since!
