    Schneider Conext Gateway Password Problem

If anyone else has this problem, the resolution is that the new password has to be between 10 and 12 characters and NO Schneider doesn't mention that anywhere..

I'm working with over 300VDC on this new single string of panels this week (wow, 100% charged by 10am... OMG but I digress)... I make sure to go pee before I even go near the stuff, lord knows last time I laughed so hard I cried down my leg.. don't need that happening again.

Schneider system design wasteland......no one knows anything.....

Kind of hard to do regular watering on batteries inside something sealed with silicone unless you plan on replacing the silicone each time to maintain integrity of it's sealing... but sounds like you are aware of the risks... rule number one of FLA/Inverter installation is NEVER mount FLA under...

Schneider system design wasteland......no one knows anything.....

I think you seriously underestimate the ability for air and it's contaminants to leave a non glanded cable entry/exit point,, ESPECIALLY when you've pressurized it....

Amazing length of time walking after a 2300V arc flash

Be careful out there... this is an amazing video, non graphic but listen to what happened as he walked away from the 2300V arc flash, he thought he was on 480V.... walked away leaving bits of himself along the way.. crazy.

Thanks... looking at them now....are you a dual or triple AC rig, does it run all three or two no worries? thank you. My rig is black and I'm in AZ so that's why I'm looking at large.. it feels like you're sitting on the surface of the sun in a black toy hauler with black windows in AZ summer. I...

I REALLY love the Victron ecosystem and love the thought of a 15k Quattro in there... so now all you Sol-Ark fans... what does the Sol-Ark 12K do for me that the Victron 15K doesn't.... (other than built in switchgear and SCC). Man the Sol-Ark is freaking HUGE, a bit big for inside a cargo bay...

So..... in my box of toys I have a complete Schneider CSW4048 system for 48VDC, have the SCP, the over priced battery monitor, the gateway, the matching charge controller etc... bought it because I was told I could stack them and was going to put two in parallel. They have removed that feature...

Source wanted, Trina 600 watt panels, Las Vegas area if possible (may consider other manufacturer).

Has anyone in NW Arizona or the Vegas area found a local source for the Trina 600 or 500 watt panels, I want to pick them up myself rather than ship.... May consider other manufacturer of similar wattage, doing a 43' toy hauler and want max wattage per square foot. Thanks Jen

    48V Battery Bank Wire Gauge

Bananassassin I think I may give that battery a shot, except the 13.4 kWh model. It also has the cables included which look long enough to get to the DC battery lugs on my inverter. ---------------- LOL... this is the same person that was tearing up at the cost between 2/0 and 4/0 right? Ok...

    48V Battery Bank Wire Gauge

My Schneider SW4048 DC switchgear has a 250 on it as it came from the factory and before that in the DC line I have a Inverter Class T slow blow 400 amp fuse as well (from when I was running a 12VDC system). That said, I'm a newbie as well so you may want to see what others say, listening to me...

    48V Battery Bank Wire Gauge

    48V Battery Bank Wire Gauge

I run 4/0 on my 48VDC system, the price difference more than makes up for the reduced heat on the cables (I live in AZ and every bit of heat saved in the battery area helps)... go 4/0 and you'll never have to wonder if you are too small. Buy some Windy Nation Flex and a hydraulic crimper and...
