    I presume you meant "Newpowa". If so, I found this to be the case for me also. The Newpowa MC4 connectors fit loose when I connected the Newpowa MC4 connectors to all my other non Newpowa brand panels and also when connected to other non Newpowa MC4 connectors I crimped up myself. :mad:

    It appears that the Overkill manual was written for the Xiaoxiang app. On the the Xiaoxiang app, a warning appears saying "Note: only use if you know what you are doing". Maybe try using the Xiaoxiang app. If that does not work, I would ask Overkill for support.

    Do you have the Overkill manual? Appendix B tells how to calibrate. Elsewhere, the manual says: If you plan to calibrate your BMS, the voltmeter needs to be accurate to at least 1 millivolt. If you use a cheap or badly-calibrated voltmeter, you will only make your calibration worse.

    I sized my DC to DC charger so as to never exceed 65% of my rated alternator capacity. I have second guessed my self several times thinking I was being too OCD conservative. Your 50% number makes me feel better. :)
