Good point , I had not considered the system shutting down and I dont really want to run the genny to use an oven . We always have a little camping cooker on hand as when we lived on grid there were always power cuts !

I can recommend you leave Growatt out of your choices . They give zero back up . If you try to contact them they just do not reply , dreadful after sales service .

Hi , I am just looking at this again . You say you have the Shine data on a phone and a laptop ? I am trying to go for exactly that , I have all data from 2x SPF 5000 inverters sent to an Android phone and its good , but how did you get it to send the signal to both ?

Yes I have the shine app but it would be good for others to see what is going on with the off grid system . People are always curious and a bit doubtful about off grid and it would be interesting for them to see the benefits

Has anyone found a remote display for Growatt inverters that can be placed inside a house ? I have 2 x inverters and Shine wifi display sent to my phone , which works well but would like to see a permanent wall display .

UPDATE!! After a rude amount of pressure a Rosen solar engineer contacted me and connected to my batteries via a usb cable through my laptop and re set the 2 errant batteries ! It has made a world of difference as the capacity is 200 ah X 3 so full power ahead. ! As I have posted previously ...

cells just reaching 3400 now @51v , but soon batteries will reach 100% and system will shut down . How can the cells get to Li levels ? What needs to be adjusted ?

right , but as soon as the cell voltages rise it shuts down .

Checked all cells in all batteries and all between the 3322 and 3325 mv. All battery voltages are 49.86v this morning. Is there anything wrong with these figures ?

There is another from sales who has taken up the quest but she has to refer to an engineer but there is a cable that is being sent which , I,m told will upgrade the BMS to correct the low amp batteries , we,ll see .

I do manage the system so we can actually live on it . It just doesn,t work automatically and I paid good money for this kit and they should correct the fault. Also , the 2 batteries are only charging up to 60% so this means I can only " run with the sun" little stored for a rainy day !
