I think my home gateway version would show the same with Insight Local. I'm 1,200 miles away right now and can only access Insight Cloud which doesn't show all that info.

I am using this disconnect at the advice of the AltE store. I have 12 360w panels in series so there aren't any breakers that I know of that can handle that type of voltage.

I have an XW5548 which is the older plus version, not the pro. I have the Insight Home Gateway. Anyone know if the EG4 V2 will communicate with Insight Home Gateway if I have the non-pro inverter? I haven't been able to get this ? answered by EG4 or Signature Solar.

OP here. Ended up doing it right and installing 4.3kw of panels on an Iron Ridge ground mount. It's rock solid and the winter charging is insane. I may never run my generator again. I still have the 1.7kw array on the roof as well.

Thanks. So would these EMI filters be in the AC inverter? The truck rarely throws the fault. When it does I just head to the breaker box and turn off the AC beaker then turn on the Pro Power. The truck never faults out when I turn the breaker back on. So I can live with it.

I think your plan is solid. But if your gas/propane generator is already bonded with GFI why go through the hassle of the switch? You would still label that there is a ground rod as the shed. Even if someone used an un-bonded generator is having the extra ground rod really a safety issue...

I have no idea. The PPOB has neutral bonded to ground. Logic would dictate that the frame is grounded. Later tonight or tomorrow I will check for continuity at the PPOB ground to frame. Right now I'm powering our house with the PPOB because we are in the 4-8 pm .36kwh peak rate period.
