Which ground mount would you choose and why, I like that the eco-worthy is cheaper and parts can be purchase off Amazon. I need to replace my wood ground mounts which have served me well in the last 5 years but they are warping. Any insight you can give me good or bad would be helpfull.

I think that's what i'm going to do is plant bushes In front of them in the side yard so you can't see them from the street.

Want to ask the group that live in town with neighbors on all sides, what do you do to make your solar panels not to stick out like a sore thumb ? All of mine are ground mount on pergola and shed and need to add more and don't want to look at a wall of panels in my back yard.

I think I would still go with the bifacials you still get some light to the back side just not 100 %.

Thanks for the input, yes been playing around with the dimensions and layout of the panels not going to lay flat probably around 10 to 15 pitch. I have to worry about weight of the panels as might have to take them down in case of hurricane live in SW Florida.

Was going with a 10 degree tilt also, just enough to make the water drain off. Will have to look the weight of the bi-facials as I might need to remove them if a major hurricane comes through.

Well the Bi-facials have it. Thats good I need the most watts I can get because running out of room in the yard for ground mounts. :)

Building a 10 x 30 Pergola in florida would you install regular panels or bifacials?

I have the same trouble living in florida with the inverters in the garage, Temps almost up to 100 degrees even with fans on them. Think I will go with the water heater way also.

Yea, i say install a bigger sub panel to move over all the circuits you can transfer to grid in the eg4's if you dont have enough solar.

Yes used 2, 60 amp double pole Breakers. the breaker box which is in between the two inverters is the outputs of the inverters. Yes you definitely want to keep your L1 and L2 the same into your inverters and out of your inverters. I used black/ red tape to keep them straight.

Yes I have it up and running still working out little bugs though and need to get more solar panels to handle the load we use everyday.

I have a LV 5048 for sale used it for 1 year and worked great, upgraded to the eg4 6500's. It was shipped with a small dent when I got it see pic. Will send transfer switch with it also. 600.00

I am with you what sold me was the higher voc rating I too think I should have went with the lv6548's. Been working on my eg4 6500 for the last 2 months and going to do a soft startup on mine this weekend hopeing for the best.

I sent SS a note to ask when the video will be released and here is their response. Hello, I am not aware of a bonding and common neutral video being made so I am unable to say when or if that might come out.

I have a double pole to switch to bypass the inverters incase they take a sh*t but will add a neutral switch also.

Thanks for the reply and confirming what i was thinking, just about ready to start mine up and trying to get this neutral thing buttoned up. Waiting for eg4 to come out with the video on neutral/ bonding. Do you have your bonding screw still in?

What size wire do you think from the Polaris to the neutral buss ? Also do think I can combine all 4 from the inverters to 1 Polaris then to a 1 awg to the buss ??
