Newbie here, does this battery bank connection to the Lynx Distributor look right?

My 8 3.2V 206aH Lishen cells finally arrived!! Now to hook them up to my 12V system. I have a Victron Lynx Distributor where all components are fused. The battery bank was going to connect to the left-most positive and negative connection points. However, after reading a bunch, I've decided to...

Will this Work? 12V 380Ah LiFePo with 200A BMS

I'm working out the same model. Can you please tell me how exactly you connected them in parallel? Did you stack the pos and neg lugs on top of each other, connect them with bus bars or wire, or some other way? For some reason, this has me tripped up...

Best Option for 12V 200A BMS?

Question on this: I have 8 cells wanting to make what you're talking about. But how would I actually parallel them? Are you paralleling the BMSs too? Or are you just creating the 4S packs, both with individual BMSs and then connecting Pack #1 pos terminal to Pack #2 pos terminal (and same with...

Two 12V 280AH LiFePo4 batteries each with their own BMS in parallel

It certainly does. I am also using a Lynx for my fuses. However, I only have one. I was thinking of putting an inline ANL fuse on each positive side. Then adding the lugs on top of one another on the left side the Lynx distributor where the wires come in. Do you think that would work fine too?

I have a 2k watt inverter, will two Overkill 120A 12V 4S BMS's work with two separate battery packs?

This question may have been answered (potentially many) times before but I'm struggling as a noob. I have two separate 4S battery packs (8 cells in total) in a 12V system. Each one will be equipped with its own Overkill 120A 4S BMS(es?). I have a typical off-grid, camper van DC load and a 2000W...

Two 12V 280AH LiFePo4 batteries each with their own BMS in parallel

This is exactly what I'm wanting to do. Can I ask how you set it up to the Lynx? Did you stack the positive lugs from pack #1 and pack #2 and the negative lugs from pack #1 and pack #2 on top of each other on their respective pos. and neg. battery input site (left side of the Lynx)? Or did you...

    Please critique my electrical diagram (12v system | 4.8kw bank | 2kw inverter | DC-DC charging) *UPDATED!*

Thanks @HRTKD. I checked in with a Victron sales rep who said the Cerbo only works with Victron components. So, unfortunately, the components I have will not be compatible with the Cerbo. I think I can either do what @Diysolar123 said and slightly lower the float and absorb voltage profiles on...

    Please critique my electrical diagram (12v system | 4.8kw bank | 2kw inverter | DC-DC charging) *UPDATED!*

Thank you. I thought about this multiple charging problem. My solution was to only have one charger going at one time. And to shut off the other two when not in use. But if it's possible to have either the mppt and AIMS charger going at the same time or mppt and DC-DC charger going at the same...

    Please critique my electrical diagram (12v system | 4.8kw bank | 2kw inverter | DC-DC charging) *UPDATED!*

Thanks for clicking in and having a look. Electrical diagram is attached but you can also go here: to view it. My main question is in regards to the battery-to-battery charger which is not connected to the Victron Lynx Distributor currently. Because it will have an inline fuse (and the...

    Please critique my electrical diagram (12v | 3.6-4.8kw bank | 2kw inverter | DC-DC charging)

Ah, thank you. I take it they're basically the same as the caps used in rewiring light fixtures in your house. I was thinking of using the Wago connectors for basically the same thing, but maybe a quicker, stronger connection...

    Please critique my electrical diagram (12v | 3.6-4.8kw bank | 2kw inverter | DC-DC charging)

Thank you for taking a look. I like the idea of the remote sub panel. I might stick with the two fuse centers then. I think it gives me more options in the future too to potentially add on other DC items. My other question is some folks were saying it's redundant to have an ANL fuse and a...

    Please critique my electrical diagram (12v | 3.6-4.8kw bank | 2kw inverter | DC-DC charging)

In my design I have many different DC loads, all individually fused, which are not series connected together. For example, Bedroom reading light/USB #1 had a separate fuse from Bedroom reading light/USB #2. I have (24) individual DC loads and the AC-DC distribution box only holds (15). All the...

Hey all! I learned a lot since my first proposed Electrical Diagram. If anyone could take a look at my second version, which is quite different, I'd be beyond grateful. This is a 12V system with 3.6-4.8kw battery bank (300-400aH), 2000 watt inverter, DC-DC alternator charging, and 620 watts of...

$1000 12v 400aH XUBA battery pack on AliBaba... good or bad idea??

Would I need to purchase more than just the item above? In my understanding, the box contains the cells in a case outfitted with a BMS that has temp control.

$1000 12v 400aH XUBA battery pack on AliBaba... good or bad idea??

Looking to purchase this 12v 400aH battery pack from XUBA on AliBaba. Seems like a great alternative to purchasing my own cells and creating my own battery bank. (I need between 320-400aH @ 12V.) I'm apprehensive though... It a bad idea to order these battery packs rather than the individual...

So I think I’m too late to order this 12v 400aH battery pack from XUBA. Are you saying if requested today the quality might be impacted? Here is the AliBaba product I was looking at: Also, is it a bad idea to order these battery packs rather than the cells because you can’t really individually...

    BigBattery 170 Concerns

This is really helpful. I'm having a very tough time figuring out the actual amp draw of my battery bank (I have a standard camper van setup with a solar charge controller, inverter, etc). I have two 205aH 12V batteries wired in parallel for a 4920watt system. I also have a 2500watt inverter...

Could someone take a look at my 24V camper van electrical schematic? (Using all-in-one solar system)

@seanski that is funny! I was planning on going with Big Battery but they raised all their prices recently so kudos if you got in before that! Also, I'm still a bit unsure on their terminals. For the amount of amps going through the 12V if you hook up more than one in parallel it seems like you...

Could someone take a look at my 24V camper van electrical schematic? (Using all-in-one solar system)

@seanski I decided against my original plan to use 24V and an all-in-one unit to instead go with a 12V system. My reasoning for doing so is because I do not have that many 120v AC loads, but more importantly, I'm using this in my camper van and planning on having the alternator help charge the...

Could someone take a look at my 24V camper van electrical schematic? (Using all-in-one solar system)

Hey there! I actually have not updated it yet but I’m about to! They came out with a 12v larger MPP all-in-one that I’m adjusting my entire schematic so that it runs off a 12v system bc I heard the losses from the DC to DC step down can actually be quite a lot (20%- even if it says it’s 96%...

Could someone take a look at my 24V camper van electrical schematic? (Using all-in-one solar system)

I'm not sure why BigBattery suggests the 6AWG Anderson plug to rings cable. Would I be better off making my own super short 1AWG Anderson plug to fuse (on the B+ side), then continue 1AWG to the bus bars, and continue to the Growatt? Also, would I have to run that 1AWG to the DC to DC fuse...

Could someone take a look at my 24V camper van electrical schematic? (Using all-in-one solar system)

Thanks so much! I will adjust for your first three points. To the last one: The main battery has a built in BMS with over and undercurrent protection up to 300A. The all-in-one inverter Growatt system has internal circuit breakers. Would the battery and Growatt still need fuses??

Could someone take a look at my 24V camper van electrical schematic? (Using all-in-one solar system)

Hello! Newbie poster here. (Please be kind but all assistance is greatly appreciated.) Can someone please look over my wiring schematic for this 24V system for my camper van? It uses BigBattery's battery power bank and connects it to an all-in-one Growatt unit. There's a DC-DC step down...
