    Eg4 6000EX help

Did you test the voltage at the battery terminals on the inverter? Turning the battery on should be the last thing you do to allow the precharge resistor to work as it is only active when you for a few seconds after turning the battery on. It could be if you have solar connected it was...

    Eg4 6000EX help

technically the breakers should be closed to allow electricity to flow. It one of the areas that electricity is the opposite to plumbing. What battery are you using? Most of the time when connecting a battery to the inverter the Inrush will trip the short circuit protection on the battery...

EG4 18kPV issues - turning on and off repeatedly at sunrise and sunset

The default password on the display is just 0000 there has already been alot of bug fixes and luxpowertek seems to be quite responsive when it comes to recognizing and addressing bugs. This inverter has great value when comparing it to the sol-ark 15k Wich is comparable in specs But yes a...

It can be adjusted at the unit! , and by your distributor/installer!

EG4 18kPV issues - turning on and off repeatedly at sunrise and sunset

OKAY so definitely an issue there. Is it the battery that clicks or the inverter?

EG4 18kPV issues - turning on and off repeatedly at sunrise and sunset

I am a dealer with my own code. So I have access to those settings. On the app. But anyone should be able to adjust it at the inverter. Under settings-advanced

EG4 18kPV issues - turning on and off repeatedly at sunrise and sunset

Good to know. I think it could/should be fixed on the firmware side.

EG4 18kPV issues - turning on and off repeatedly at sunrise and sunset

Is your inverter connected to the grid? Or a battery? If there is no Ac input or battery it is normal for the inverter to try to start and fail as the sun comes up. But it would be great if MPP could add an adjustable solar start voltage as well.

EG4 18kPV issues - turning on and off repeatedly at sunrise and sunset

I have the same issue with the lux 12k us Firmware FAAB-1717 Where it would turn off and on 12 to 15 times in the morning every minute or so. Also happened once in the evening. I've changed the Start pv voltage from 140 to 250v. edit it seems to have fixed the issue. Seems like it could be...

    Gsl battery fires

Can you provide any more details, bms firmware, model and age? any more pictures? Also if you could get a copy of the bms settings. It would be helpful. I build battery packs using the 10e seplos bms. And haven't had any thing like this happen. Yet?

Seems MPP dropped a new inverter...a split phase 10KW

The EG4 version of the lv6548v has the same high idle consumption.

I'm in Canada. But the Jinko 465w panels are as you described. Clear between the cells https://solarpowerstore.ca/products/jinko-465w-bi-facial-solar-panels-jkm455m-7rl3-tv?_pos=2&_sid=9c573ca5c&_ss=r

EG4 new AIO rated 12K output and 18kPV aka "EG4-18Kpv-12LV"

There are definitely alot of pros to this inverter no question there. I've seen as much as a 50v "sag" when removing a 4800w load. Which seems to indicate poor voltage control algorithm. The voltage usually spiks when a load is removed. And it does if the load is less then 2200w or so. But...

EG4 new AIO rated 12K output and 18kPV aka "EG4-18Kpv-12LV"

After posting that. Eddie_Lux reached out to me, and I've been working with lux since. But as of yet haven't seen any progress. On the other hand Will seems to not have any problems at all, with his testing of the eg4 18k. So I'm at a bit of a loss, I've been told the inverters are almost...

New Lux Power LXP-LB-US 12k / GSL-H-12KLV-US with 200A AC Passthrough Current (US Market)

Do you have them communicating with a data cable to the inverter? for the state of charge to be Accurate, that needs to happen. How are you reading the SOC with SolarAssistant, emulated or data cable?

New Lux Power LXP-LB-US 12k / GSL-H-12KLV-US with 200A AC Passthrough Current (US Market)

Based on the specifications you mentioned, I think your referring to the lvx6048, not the lv6548. But your point is still valid. For grid interaction, I would recommend the lxp 12k over 2 lvx6048 inverters.

EG4 new AIO rated 12K output and 18kPV aka "EG4-18Kpv-12LV"

Here's some videos showing my findings. I spoke with lux power and, unfortunately was told the inverter was mainly designed for on grid scenarios. So the off grid surge issue is of low priority. MIG Welding 120v well pump chargeverters and Heater Edit. since posting this I have been...

EG4 new AIO rated 12K output and 18kPV aka "EG4-18Kpv-12LV"

I've installed over a Dozen lv6548 and have used 2 lvx6048 to power my own system for over 3 years now. and I'm currently ordering in 4 more lv6548v inverters. My point is, there is room for improvement. not everyone has that option. (plus it's against code to have batteries below grade.) The...

Where the lv6548 is lacking. 1. Noise 2. Blow all the air/dust through the electronics 3. Require a oversized generator. 4. 2 year warranty. 5. Require a fair amount of supporting breakers and pv disconnects. 6. Not rated for outdoors 7. Software is not very intuitive. 8. Monitoring apps, are...

I finally got around to revising my comparison the first part of this video is the same but I switched to the lv6548. in the second half . and I was surprised, the lv6548 voltage actually went up under load.

    LV-6548 + Trophy SOC conflict

Yes we are safe. the rain really helped. I'm west of grande Prairie, 45 minutes So, not to close to any big fires. There were a few small fire's that started close by. But were controlled quickly. Yes fort McMurray was crazy I personally know a family that lost their house there.

    LV-6548 + Trophy SOC conflict

58 seems a bit high. I would suggest 56.5 bulk. 54.4v float is good.

    LV-6548 + Trophy SOC conflict

Yes if the inverter does not have a dedicated rj4 cable to the battery, then the battery SOC on the inverter is just an estimate based on the voltage. What is the absorbe and float voltages set at in your inverter?
