A dumb question but re 24v/12 volt on RV...

As long as your SCC can handle the total volts (VOC (s) with adjustment for cold temps), you can wire them in series. This may provide an advantage by having a higher panel voltage, so SCC will start passing power to bank sooner and often later in a day. And, yes, in general, an SCC will take...

Panel Mounting on Flat Roof Aluminum Cargo Trailer

Ive used superstrut / unistrut rails (parallel to long side of trailer) and then mounted panels to them. allows some variation and gets them up off roof providing cooling. Tilt options can built right away or later too.

    150/70 Victron or slight overpanel a 150/60 ?

Thanks. Cant add a fourth panel on the roof as the 3 literally take up near all of it. Would be adding a separate SCC for remote panels.

    150/70 Victron or slight overpanel a 150/60 ?

3 x 315w panels with 40V VOC and 10 amp ISC. Going in a 12V system. Planning on putting them in series. So 120V VOC total, and the temp coefficient has them still good for a 150V rated SCC. The 150/60 has the nominal 12V wattage at 860, so it would be overpaneled by 85 watts or ~10%.
