Anyone buying these 305ah envision cells?

All my banks have a 1A balancer, turn on every 3 months as long as needed, usually 3 days, when in 5 days, something is pretty wrong, i think But some folks have stated those envision are pretty time resistant. I think i will give it a go, again you get what you pay for?

Anyone buying these 305ah envision cells?

to80% of state of charge, if you are using 100% then you will have no more then 4000 left. EVE also has several species of cells, their not only for automotive industrie.

Anyone buying these 305ah envision cells?

I have been lurking on them, great price. But looking on some numbers: envision---> 70%SOC gives a 6000cyles. EVE B grade -->80%SOC gives a 8000 cycles. So cycle life is less, what about self life? If even doing 1 cycle a day it would still be 16 years for envision and 21 years for eve. how...

    LiFePO4 Voltage Chart?

Long life? 46 to 56V You will not see the end of them nor your children. Now they will see 70%soh left. In the meantime, you expand. In 20 years from now, there will be a other type of battery or chemistry, your kids will not even want your "old/obsolete" lifepo4. Not even 500kwh 70%soh...

https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/dc-wire-size I used this one for all my wires. For 50V and 100A it spits out 26,7mm2 I am way not close to capacitor capacity. So i really hope you can explain this one to me, cous i dont think i understand it, sorry. I will do that! I just did all with...

Agree... Short of storage....need more cells... Short of harvest....need more pv Oke i have easy talking, i have room enough, for batts and pv(130m2 can be covered in pv, and more if must) so i can do it with "old" panels. Panels from 25 years ago! give an average if they are good of 120wp per...

I have fuses on all levels. except individual cell level as you do with second hand li ion cells. Thanks for your explanations, makes al lot clear. But my inverter is just a stupid thing, min 42v max 58v, in that range he operates.... So i use the bmses to cut off the power under 48v, when the...

The panels on the south west roof: 6* 100wp 34,4v and 2.9A connected in 70v * 3 The panels on the east south roof are the same. I am planning to put them all in one controller. My busbars are 300mm2 (*1,2A 360A rated) The fuse per pack is 100A 48v dc rated. The inverter has a 300A 48v dc rated fuse. Those green yellow cables are 25mm2 So far so good? The cables on the inverter are 3 times 16mm2, yes those are way to thin, when the inverter is going in full...

    Last fire.. :-(

Sorry, no my friend. it is just the other way around... They keep pumping A's into that poor cell...swallow or choke...a fuse prevents both.. They want to balance...hence a self discharger...more dendrite forming, hence higher ir henche heating up... Now this circle you will prevent with propper...

    Last fire.. :-(

My opinion about a "runaway": There are other chemestries that get some unbalance and will cause a thermal runaway(famous red sanyo's 18650) Short circuit due to other causes: a pack that is NOT properly balanced. a not matching string, 15s 420Ah cells and one 105Ah cell. short...

    Last fire.. :-(

Dendrite is occurring/building up with every cycle. The IR is also building up. You will notice this in time. If your string is original a 100Ah, most of us with take it out before it is getting dangerous, meaning: I don't think someone wants to prolong the "suffering" of the string when it is...

    Last fire.. :-(

I read some very interesting arguments against what ever problem a cell can have... Yes we can put pressure sensors heating sensors bms ect to protect a string and what ever system that we can think of... But arent we forgetting the most important thing? Cell level fuse? The fuse will blow when...
